Hi, RonaldAllen1234,

1. Would you mind posting a screenshot of this issue so I may have a better understanding of what you are referring to?

2. Are you opening to Bing.com or is there another url in the address bar?

3. Which browser are you using?

4. Click the Hamburger in Upper Right (3 horizontal lines)

Click Show Home Page Image

Click Show News & Interests

Thank you for this reply. I have tried to take a screen shot in Windows 10, Microsoft Edge, but have not been able to do it. I have looked up "How to Take a Screen Shot in Windows 10" but I evidently do not "get it."

I intend to open www.bing.com, but I get a much longer url.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi, RonaldAllen1234,

1. If using a laptop - Press FN key then press PrntScren which is the End button above the keypad.

If using a desktop > Press PrntScrn button

I press and hold FN then press PrntScrn

I then type Paint into the Cortana search bar (lower left)

When Paint opens > Press Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot into Paint

You may then make all the adjustments  you wish before posting.

This wiki tells you how to use snipping tool > which I personally do not like.

https://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows

2. Another option is to use OneDrive to save screenshots

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Save-screenshots-to-OneDrive-automatically-d04df71c-1cb0-4ad6-9f9c-b08494d79d6a

Sorry - you should type www.bing.com into the address bar.

Would you post the url you get when you open Bing.com?

Thank you for your patience.

This is the URL of the page that opened on Bing this morning:

https://www.bing.com/search?q=history+of+the+palace+of+westminster+england&filters=IsConversation%3a%22True%22+BTEPKey:%22Encyclo_WL_BigBenLondon%22&FORM=EMSDS0

I was able to follow your directions using your option No. 1 to make a screen shot of the have made a screen shot of the screen at the URL just above. I have the screen shot in Paint. However, I cannot now figure out how to get it into this communication. None of my typical copy-and-paste maneuvers work and I have not found instructions for inserting a screen shot in anything other than an email or Word document.

Thanks.

Ron

Do you see the envelope icon?

Press that to upload an image.

Using Paint

Click file > Save As

Click a folder to save the image in

Name the image

Click the upload icon to insert the image

The next time you insert a url click the icon next to the upload image to insert a live link for members.

It makes it easy to click the link rather than copy/paste it into the address bar.

Which browser are you using?

I see two tabs in the image

1. Has Bing on it

2. You did a search for the History of Westminister Palace, correct?

The only time I see this is when I click images in the menu.

1. Click Images in the menu

Click back to All in the menu

Refresh the page

2. Clear your browser cache files

Close then relaunch the browser

3. The url you'd posted earlier does show there was a search for History of Westminister Palace. Once you clear the browser, that search should not be in history.
